This is a quilted satin glass custard cup. This is a double-cased piece with interior white glass fused to an orange outer layer of glass. The rim is done in a folded fashion. The quilting pattern on the outside is almost completely uniform with some fused bubbles. The bottom has a ground pontil ground to the white layer of glass. The under plate of cased glass with orange inner layer is fused to the white outer layer. The plate has a folded rim, matching the rim of the cup. The bottom has a ground pontil that is ground through to the bottom of orange layer of glass.
